Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose to prominence with her performance in the Tezaab film, in which she was a part of the cast with veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The next film she appeared in was Dil which she shared screen space with Aamir. Early on, as a girl growing up in Mumbai's middle class she began to learn how to dance. When she was still in high school, she attempted acting, but most films she attempted to make did not succeed. She eventually found success and went on to become one of the leading actors in the Indian film industry. In the aftermath of her wedding ceremony, she took a brief time off from her acting career before returning. In the last few years, Dixit played a significant role on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India is bestowed to her. She has also been recognized by the field of social work.
