Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born into a music-loving family. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic performances. Ana began to learn how to play and sing at an early age alongside her mother. She was given more formal training in singing at the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. In 2000, she relocated back to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she returned to her new home in Southern California.
